Diversity Committee

Phillips Lytle has established a Diversity Committee. The Committee includes our Firm Managing Partner, David J. McNamara; Partners, Linda T. Prestegaard, David H. Kernan and Paul Morrison-Taylor; and Sandra E. Langs, Chair and Chief Diversity Officer. The goals of the Diversity Committee are to increase the awareness throughout the Firm of the importance of diversity and to develop policies, practices and programs designed to maintain and enhance a diverse workplace. One of the core values of Phillips Lytle is the firm's commitment to foster an inclusive environment where diverse individuals may succeed professionally and fully contribute to the goals of the firm.

Scholarship Program

In 1991, we established a scholarship program for students at the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School who are traditionally underrepresented in the legal community. This program is sponsored solely by Phillips Lytle. To date, Phillips Lytle is proud to have sponsored 60 scholarship recipients who have received nearly $150,000. Scholarships are awarded each year to students who demonstrate an intent to remain in Western New York.
